This is a 4 guitar version. i bought two 10 foot 3/4 inch pvc pipes and had them cut in half at the store. 11 3/4 "t" connectors 6 elbows 5 caps 2 sections of self adhesive insulating pipe foam. pictured is my dog wondering if the foam is edible.. The stand folds and unfolds in seconds. even without any screw or bolt it is locked in every direction. we use cork instead of rubber to protect the fragile lacquer of your instrument. eventhough it feels like velvet, it has a natural resistance to hold your guitar in a firm grip. our foldable stands are all purpose stands.. My smallest guitar is a 1/2 sized and i also have 3/4 and 4/4 so the height and width was worked out so the stand would hold them all. i'm really happy with the end result! 2 replies.
